Hello , new to the forum, I actually stumbled across while trying to find solution to my problem, I have a 2002 Donzi 28 ZX it has Mercruiser Bravo 1 outdrives and Mirage Plus with a 23 pitch for props ( twin)
So over the last month or so it has started leaning to the right( driver side) when both outdrives are trimmed down , the only way to correct it and get it to ride level is trim the other outdrive up , but then the handling goes to hell.
The other issue I am having is if I am at a complete stop and hammer down on the throttles the outdrives seem to be reving up and the boat not taking off to keep up, Sometimes when it does that the rpms with just about redline ,where they start beeping , it will churn up a ton of water but not much forward movement , It reminds me of a transmission slipping in a car where its reving up but not moving much ,
When it does this I can back off on it and then go at it again, and it will start moving , But I am having 30ft's smoke me from take off..Had a guy tell me that the props have plugs in them and I should try to put a plug in the back , when I got home I looked and the plugs are there... Any help on this would be amazing as i have owned this boat for a little over a year, has about 42 hours on it and it has been a nightmare , one problem after another. Spent more time in the shop than It has spent at my house
Thank you guys in advanced for any help or suggestions you may be able to give

Nice boat! Couple of thing you can do to start. If the boat is listing more to one side than the other and its correctable with trim, check the basics first. Is there more weight one side vs the other? Are the drives trimming at the same rate? Are they trimming all the way down? Not sure how Donzi does their fuel tanks, does it use a belly tank or two side tanks? If it's two side tanks and its only pulling from the one tank it will cause an imbalance.

As to the props blowing out Its most likely prop related. You really need to find a good local prop guy to discuss your issues with. There is a lot they can do to help, and they may recommend you switching to a 4 blade. Before you head to see one take down the rpm and gps speeds for your cruise and WOT. This with a current description of your issues will help them with what to do.

Thanks , yea there is no weight diff on one side or the other, due to it does it with just me and wife in it and with having nothing on board, when we got the boat it would run straight and at the beginng of this season it would , then all of sudden it started going to the right
Now I did replace the trim pump on the driver side and didnt on the passenger side, so that could probally be the issue , Now Im thinking more about it , it seems that is when it started trailing to the right

As far as the spin up, does it sound like maybe the outdrives are bad? What would a 4 blade prop potentially do for the better? Thanks brother for the reply

could be one of your prop hubs is slipping. if that is the case, draw a line on your props and the prop hub and nut with a sharpie. take boat for a run. come back and look. if the line is no longer continuous, you have a bad prop hub. take prop off and have new hub pressed in.

my guess is the starboard engine prop hub is gone (since the boat wants to turn to the starboard (right)).

I forgot to mention, the boat seems very ";loose" and squerlley when driving also, feels like when you go over a wave you are going lose control and doesn't feel very secure while driving, Dont know if that has to do with the prop issue or not, when I first got it last year it didnt feel like that, now the handling has gone to hell
