Thanks for all your previous help with my bad tilt trim motor; I've been out of the loop, but just today ordered new motor , and hopefully that should fix most of my problems; one thing I realized, is the switch is going bad, it easily depresses in the up position, but when I pus it dow, it 'sticks', dosn't pop back up when I let go. I'm thinking this might have been one of my previous problems witht no getting voltage to the down soelenoid. How do I get the old switch out of the throttle handle to inspect and possibly replace it ?

Is it as bad as it looks ?? I assume #34 is the t/t switch; will I get away with just taking the handle off ?? or is that not possible

Do you think the Nissan throttle is fairly similar ??

Me again; while waiting for t/t motor to come in, not much to do; don't want to tear throttle box apart just yet; I was messing around, though, and tell me what you think of this; each soelenoid has 3 wires, lead, ground and a white wire that goes to the switch, I assume; I push the up button and the up soelenoid clicks; I push the down button and nothing happens; the white wires comming off soelenoids plug into white wires coming off wiring harness under the cowling (actually, one is white, the other is a very light mint green color); so, I unplugged each, and switched them over; I assume now if I hit the up button the down soelenoid would click ; what happens, though, is the up button now does nothing and the down button causes the down soelenoid to click; does this make sense ?
