I have no idea were my manual is and I was wondering how much air pressure to fill up my HF 360 boat? What will I need to get to know how much pressure is in there? Id prefer something I can just get at walmart or some place like that so I don't have to order anything. Also what to much and not enough aire pressure when your out on the water and what's the best way to fix that?

Will the different chambers take different pressures?

Thanks

Re: HF 360 air pressure question

I was doing some more research and found a couple old posts on here. Seems like you use the strip labled A and B in the boat for the two main chamber (enter and outer tube). I read one post and someone said inflate first chamber tell it reachs A then inflate second chamber tell it reachs B. Read another post and someone had emailed Sevylor and asked about the strip and they said when its in the middle its inflated right.

I check mine right now its more towards A I just inflated it real quick to glue my tags on. I'm going to deflate and reflate Sat morning before I take it out for the first time. So which one is right when its inflated should the gadge be at B or should it be in the middle. Being in the middle makes more sense to be but I thought I would ask seeing how there quit a few people on here who have the boat.

This will be the first time I have ever taking a boat of any kind out so just wanting to make sure its inflated right don't want to bust a seam or something and having to swim to shore lol.

Re: HF 360 air pressure question

If the B mark is the max, don't go over it for more rigidity, will blow upper or lower seams fabric. If inflated to middle AB mark, probably will have a very soft inflatable, if inflated to B mark, deflate some if leaving outside water under sunny environments.

Re: HF 360 air pressure question

Thanks for the reply, I don't know which one is the max. Right now its more towards A the outer tube is harder so that may be the cause. I'm going to deflate tommorrow and reflate it outside to test ever thing out so ill have to watch what the gauge does. I'm just not sure what's to much air, I guess ill try and get the gauge inbetween A and B and see how it feels.

Re: HF 360 air pressure question

Check with deflated sib the internal gauge mark, probably starts at A and goes to B while inflating, a Sevylor K-86 was my first sib back at the good old days...
