I got a 1990 221 liberator 454ci 23.5 ft boat that needs a prop. I just dinged it up on the river in shallow water a friend of mind mistakenly sent me. I tried reading a few of the posts & i havent yet gone out to try and get the numbers off of the prop, but need some help on what to run and whats a mid-range $$$ but effective prop for the money. In other words i do not want to break the bank.

I am also trying to track down a manual for this boat.

I need to figure out where to put the power steering/trans fluid. I have a right side piston leak that needs fluid everyone once in awhile. Over a 3 week span the motor will drop while parked in the yard. Looking to find where to put it. I have an idea but a manual would work.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks again

sounds like you want aluminum. look into the solas amita 3 or 4. depending on your needs. as for the trim. im betting its an OMC, if so, the seals might need to be replace in the trim pumps etc. we just finished doing it on my dads 1990 5.0 omc. she would drop when sitting or moored for more than a day. you need to find the pitch of your stock prop

Okey. I went outside and its a 14.5 x 20 #394753 and it is made by PARKER. The Parker name was on the side of the blade so I am assuming thats the make. The motor is a 454 King Cobra OMC. Thanks again

If you are seeking performance changes, in order to provide any meaningful answer, read attached thread and provide the info requested:
http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=287818

I willing to bet your prop says "Raker", and not Parker...

Is this your prop? The part # matches...

If yes, and if you are NOT seeking performance changes, I would very strongly suggest you send it out to a prop shop and have it repaired, instead of shopping for a replacement. It's a VERY nice, expensive, high performance stainless prop...and well worth repairing. $150-ish I will guess depending on extent of damage and your local market...and it'll be like brand new.
