Hello all. I am JJuday, new to your site and a boat newb. I do however work for a small shop that just specializes in in/out drives. No hull or motor work, just drives. I went from Aviation to Marine, so far I like what I do.

The business I work for has it's money makers in the OMC and Merc lines of outdrives, with a few Volvo/Penta's here and there. My job so far is to disassemble drives, clean and inspect parts. Most of what I work on tearing apart day to day are OMC Cobra, Baby King outdrives, with the occasional Merc Alpha series and Bravos.

I usually have 3-4 Cobras across my bench in a 10hr. day, unless any are salt water drives, then the fun begins! I hope to post pictures of some of the misery that I have to deal with day to day and I hope to be able to be of some help to the members here.

If you want pointers on disassembly I can help, hull and motors, you are on your own there as boats are foriegn to me at this point.

Thanks for having me, JJuday.
