Higgins brass boat propeller

I have a brass boat propeller that has several engravings/markings on it. One is: equi roisf Patent #20118 DED A1792 D and then Higgins and an engraved star or hexagon shape. Does anyone know anything about this? I bought it at a thrift shop because I liked it, but wanted to know if it has any value. I looked on eBay and saw many brass propellers, and prices varied from several dollars to hundreds of dollars. How might I go about finding out about this?

I believe that is "equipoise" When the Equipoise came out it was state of the art.
Higgins was a boat builder, building PT boats during wwll. and recreational boats after the war.
A neighbor had one with a twin carb Chrysler Hemi V8.
