High Oil Pressure

I have dual 7.4L Mercruiser engines in my 2000 year boat. The starboard engine oil pressure guage reads about 60 psi on average. The port reads a little higher, maybe 62-63psi untill I open the throttle and then it climbs to 70-75 psi depending on RPMS. The starboard stays close to 60. <br />I bought boat beginning of last season. Noticed it then. Had boat hauled over winter, oil changed. Mechanic told me there was too much oil in port engine. He put correct amount of oil in port engine this spring. Pressure still higher than starboard. Any Ideas?

Re: High Oil Pressure

If you can easily access the guages, you might try switching the connections and see if it is the actual pressure that is high or the reading at the guage.
