High pitch ignition alarm

When I'm starting my engine I get a short high pitched beep and it stops when the the engine begins to run. Then it stops. Then a few seconds later it goes off again and stays on? What might this be. Never heard it stay on like this
2001 2455 Ciera. 5.7 mercruiser. The only thing I did was change the gear oil.

Did you top of the gear lube monitor?
