I have a92 mariner 90 hp s/n 0c162292 model 7090d129d, IT all started when my tach quit, i then noticed it was charging high. checked my recktifier and found faulty, and replaced it. the tach did not come back, but the voltage was fine. Now the voltage is at13.2 at idle and 16.2 at 3000rpms to full power. Now the recktifier is blown again. and since this has happen the tach has never come back and the fuel gauge shows a reading all the time when it use to go to e when the key was shut off. and i had to replace the module for the alarm system when u start up. could this be affecting all my electrcal gauges and tach. the motor runs great. should i replce v.r or do u think its the recktifier. i also thought that the recktifer only direct the current in one direction and has nothing to do with charging. also was wondering how many volts a recktifier can handle. I NEED HELP!
