hit sand bar/tilt not working

[Aqua Vision]

i have a 1997 proline with a 1997 150 mercury outboard. i hit a sand bar and ever since my tilt does not work. I checked relays they click and i get power to them i also checked wires coming from pump and i get power to them also up and down ,,i hit the pump lightly and nothing, it worked once before, but i never hit sand bar. Could the rams and or the pump seized from hitting sandbar?

Can you hear the pump running? Could be just a concidence. I hit sand down here pretty much daily and it never affected the tilt/trim. If you do have to replaced the motor and are doing it yourself, suggest you use the real MERC. replacement part. The cheaper aftermarket fits all can give you clearance problems. regards fred
