Hit something at local boat ramp

Hello to all...Here's my problem, I was in reverse at my local boat ramp when I hit bottom hard and the
motor stopped. The prop has a little bend in it and now I can't move the wheel. The steering won't turn at all. I just fixed my tilt tube problem and I'm wondering if my steering rod that goes through the tilt tube may be bent. How do I really know for sure?
Thanks

Not likely the tilt tube or steering rod bent.

More likely the steering swivel/kingpin bound up from the impact.

Take the steering cable out of the tube and see if the motor will turn.

Roscoe I took the steering cable out and the motor turns freely in both directions...I cleaned the tilt tube out again real good and greased it up but the cable falls about four inches short of going all the way through...
