Hitting the runways

After 1 year or local treatment for S4 lung and liver cancer I'm headed to CTCA in Goodyear, AZ. Not sure if it comes with a free set of tires.I'll have my Son get me a tablet so I can see what all of of you are up to. eace:

Yes hang in there. I remember when any type of that C word was a death sentence. Not anymore thank God. You can do this bud. Hang in there. We aren't religious per say but prayers can't hurt. Preys forthcoming from Southern Ontario Canada.

You've done a lot for me Art. We are getting back to the days of penpals. I joked with with a co-worker years ago that emails, texts & Facebook stuff is out of hand and we`ll be back to smoke signals before long. And, I sit here on a tablet on a forum...go figure. You're a good man Mr. Speck.

Things are a lot tougher for many others. Our Granddaughter was diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer early and spent a year in the hospital & rules the roost at 9 when she visits. Life is good.

But, like everyone else, you're in my thoughts and prayers. And you're correct - you can beat this. My Dad shouldn't be alive today - by statistics, and treatment protocols, etc. But God used a great oncologist, the support and prayers of good friends and family, and one heckuva will to fight in the old man to keep him alive 10 years later.

God bless your doctors, family and body ... let's get ya' home. And when you do - rent a yellow Vette for the ride back to the house
