I thought there were hockey fans on this site! Last year at this time, there were dozens of posts!

As for the hockey, yep...Go Kings Go!!
I could never abide New Jersey winning the cup....I never forgave them for that style of play they used years ago to get ahead ....the ol' super boring 'trap'. Without that, they would have nowhere.
The cup will be at the game tonight...so the Kings have a great opportunity to wrap things up and I think they will.

Yeah... Philadelphia Flyer Fan born and raised in Philly.... watching four or five former Flyers getting ready to win the cup in LA.

I don't like the Flyers organization, so I hope this LA march sticks it right up their you-know-what.

I agree. Living in the upper midwest, it's tough to get too excited about either team....... Go #31 Burton! Oh, sorry......:redface::p:D Say, has anyone spashed their boat yet????:facepalm:

There certainly were, but they weren't bandwagon jumpers. Once you are down to only New Jersey and LA as participants, it would be up their hard-core fans to take some initiative and as a group that is just very ....oh, never mind.
I think you need to have a dog in the fight to be worried about the winner.

Bruce, I don't expect you follow that puck logic, (you are from California, and your idea of a "left wing lock" probably involves a sure thing in the next primaries...:eek:) and the fact that it was an afterthought for you to add....

I have watched every game in the finals and most of the playoff games but its just been weird this year, I don't know anyone who backs either of these teams here so I don't know who to root for, never the less I will be watching again tonight...

I hope the Kings win so Willy can bring the cup home so I can get a photo with it. Just to peeve my hockey nut bother.:D

I agree, I am not that much of a hockey fan but I do go to Kings games at Staples when I can get tickets. Tough to get as they sell out every game.

Many of my friends are incredibly loyal Kings fans and actually are in hockey leagues here in LA...who would have figured! Their enthusiasm does rub onto me as well.

Now that the Lakers are out of the playoffs I still watch all the NBA games just so I can see Miami and San Antonio get beat although very painful to root for the Celtics. Thought same would apply to hockey fans as well.

Hopefully, Boston will pull it off. I'm rooting for the Celtics to the end only because Garnett used to play for the Wolves....... Besides, who likes Miami anyway......
