Hole in "boot" for water pump??

Hi all,
Took my 06 Tahoe 4.3 out today and opened the engine compartment during idle and noticed water spraying out of on of the rubber "boot" fittings. Assuming this is not normal??

Do you have a photo by any chance?

Would this 'boot' be a rubber exhaust coupling?

I can pretty confidently say water should not spray out of anywhere in your engine compartment, idling, speeding along or stopped.
