Hole in Water Tube

Separated the drive to replace the water pump (entire kit), I do this every other year

The engine is FWC'd w/ a engine mounted raw water pump so the water pump is only cooling the drive.

Found a hole in the water tube between the water pump and the pocket cover

Don't really want to fool with that tube or the pocket housing.

Any thoughts?

I wouldn't worry too much about it since you are only pumping water up through the drive. But yes - that tube easily pulls out and can be replaced.

My thoughts exactly........didn't see it until it was put back together.
Will look at it again when I replace the water pump next time.
