Hole Shot for a 4.3lt Alpha 1 Mercruiser

I currently own a 19.2' Rinker bowrider with 4.3Lt Alpha1 Mercruiser. It came with a 21 pitch prop (14.25 dia) and runs at about 48mph at 4800 rpm. However, I would like to improve the hole shot for slalom skiers and multiple tubers. As well it cavitates on occasion as I come up on speed. I belive the gear ratio is 184:1.
Any suggestions.

Just go to a 19 and try that. It should help out pretty well on the low end.
