Bought a 1975 Century and replacing everything but the hull. There are 3 drilled holes on both sides of the transom that are not original. Whoever did it fabricated fiberglass over cardboard to create a channel up to the old deck. Assume it was for buoyancy or something. Any ideas? Was considering filling the holes but would appreciate some input from some others with more experience. Thanks!
