Holley carb performance increase?

Have a 78 OMC 225 with stock carb. Looking for more horsepower and wondered if anyone has tried the holley 4 barrel 650 cfm carb (holley part number 0-080552) for this engine and what type of performance increase they had.

this is what is on mine, I am pretty sure that it's only 600 cfm, plenty. I was and have never been a holley fan, with the exception the 'holley spread bore', and thats only because the Qudra-junk is just that. I take a carter thankyou. <br />There are other posts on this site that talk about throttle body injection... you may want to spend your $$ there. Here in So. Cal. most lakes will not let you on if your carburated or carbonated. haha
