[Holy bottoms]

I have been given a 1948 Montgomery Wards (Gale) 5 H.P. outboard. I guess you could call it a box motor! That's what it came in Small box of parts large box for larger parts. I need some sort of pictures or diagrams to put it together. I have need of a good carb diagram this thing has a cork float (Bad) and I cannot figure out how the tank goes on the motor no brackets and most of the screws are missing Help! Ric 85GG9014A

Typo in model number?? Should be 84GG...

The forward tank brackets are held on by the bolts that hold the carburetor on. Not sure about the aft ones. Send me your e-mail address in a PM (Click on my user name F_R) and I'll send you some diagrams. Remind me in the PM what you are looking for.
