Hi Guys! I was all set to build an outdrive stand for my OMC Cobra outdrive. Unfortunately, the link I had saved from a previous post dosen't work because of the new forum. Does any body have instructions for how to build an outdrive stand? The link I had saved showed how someone built a stand for use at their slip. It showed pictures of the stand and detailed lumber sizes with instructions. If anyone reading this has any of that info, please post it here for me and anyone else that might need it. Thanks so much for your time!

Re: Home-made outdrive stand instructions

Don't have instructions, but here's a link for a metal one on sale on Ebay right now:

The other day, I used my Workmate (Black and Decker workbench) and opened up the "jaws" so the prop bearing assembly (prop removed) just fit in. Balanced pretty well on the anti-cavitation plate. Wouln't take 250 pounds of torque, though.
Good luck.

The search will work whenever they get this fixed. The administation has said the boards will be down tomorrow and back up only after things are working... even if it takes a week.
