Lazy President's Day question: I've got a 14' Lowe Semi V and have the perfect metal plate on the front of the boat with some pre-drilled holes (I assume someone had a trolling motor mounted there before). <br /><br />I would like to make/create something a little sexier than just a 2 X 4 strapped across the front of the boat for my trolling motor to clamp onto. Any suggestions? Something strong enough that would prevent the trolling motor from falling into the lake.<br /><br />I guess I'm wondering if there are any do-it-yourself pictures/instructions out there that I could look at.<br /><br />It's a 24 lb. Minn Kota.<br /><br />I wasn't sure which topic this fell under. Thanks (can't wait for spring!)
