Honda BF 100 Pull Start

Hello, I need help repairing the spring on the pull rope. Is there a way to get the spring rewound or is it easier to just buy a new assembley.When I removed the bolt the spring flew across the garange and I can't get it rewound tight to get it back in place. If so is there a place online to purchase this?<br />Thanks,<br />Mark~

As JB said ,count your eyes and digits and be thankful you still have them.THIS IS ONE NASTY REPAIR.You already know about taking it apart.Winding that spring tight enough to fit in that cup will take you AND a freind at least 20 minutes, and you will likely have that spring jump back out at you only to start the whole thing over.When you finally get the rewind spring where you want it, then you move on to the pawls and getting the spring there to pay attention to your wishes.Did you think you where mad before?&%($@&%# Honda you say,but the fact is the other guys are the same crap.
