Hi, I have a 6,10m Center Console with Twin Honda BF75 EFI:s. A Company here in Sweden that upgrades a lot of racing outboards can upgrade my BF75:s with approx 10 hp per Engine.
The price for it is OK but how much top speed will I gain?

Is it worth the effort and the money?

Speed is proportional to power squared. The speed increase could be marginal adding 20 hp to a boat with 150 hp already. I'd estimate 6% speed increase. If you are already topping at 30 mph, that would be slightly under 32 mph for the new top end.

If the motors are lugging hard to get the boat up on plane it might REALLY improve the hole shot...

Then there's the issue of...
Will your boat need new props to actually make use of the extra power?

Its not an easy question to answer if tis worth it... for some people its worth a lot to go 1 to 2 mph faster... for others, No.

I Think I will try the boat next spring first with the new propellers and I also lifted the Engines, then maybe. :)

But I am trying to find new trim gauges and trim sensors but I cant figure out what to buy 37260-ZV5-821 or 37260-ZV5-822 ? And I cant find out the serial number of the trim sender/sensor. Engines are 2007, BF75D EFI BBAJ-1000XXX. One of the trim gauges will work now and then an the other one is dead, How ofter is the malfunction in the gauge vs the trim sender? The gauges are scratched and I want to replace them anyway but I am wondering if I should order the senders too?
