iboats is a very good forum for boats but does any one know of a similar forum concerning goldwings? i have one i need to restore and i KNOW i will be needing a lot of help. thanks

Kenney,<br />I dont own a motorcycle and these facts? are 2nd hand so I dont swear by them. BUT my neighbor rides a Goldwing and often gloats to our other neighbor who has a Harley Roadking that his goldwing is made in the US, Ohio I think and has more PARTS made in the US than his HD.<br />Apparently HD PARTS are made outside of the US and use steel from Canada for the frames. HD also have metric front ends and the Carbs are from Japan, However they are assembled in the US.

Hey radar750,<br /><br />First off, I was just being sarcastic, trying to bring a little fun into the forum.<br /><br />Second, I know that the Honda is built here in the USA, but the profits from that machine all go to support the economy of Japan, not the USA.<br /><br />At least the Harley money stays in my country and supports my countries economy, not someone elses!<br /><br />Kenny
