so stupid mistake i hooked my battery up backwards i hit my trim switch to lift it instead it lowered it then i realized i hooked them up backwards. i unhooked them then rehooked them up the correct way. the only thing that dose not work is the trim up. It trims down cranks over and starts fine just wont go up. i already replace the trim relay assembly and same thing just a click when hitting the switch up on both throttle and motor. i checked all the fuses in the fuse panel. also replaced the the rectifier regulator because that smelt like magic smoke and had black stuff running out of it. i just dont know where else to look. id love to bring it to a dealer but everyone is 4 weeks or so out so im trying to fix it to get back to fishing so any advise will help.

Welcome aboard.

Ya gotta tell us what motor let the smoke out.
