hopefully last question for awhile: '55 15hp not pumping water

I took the lower unit apart, replaced the seals and impeller, put it back together and put it on the motor, everything is connected, the water tube is in good shape, the drive shaft pin is catching the impeller, the plastic water pump cover is seated, I don't think it CAN go on wrong because the screws are offset a little bit, the grommets seem to be in good shape, but the motor isn't spitting any water out the exhaust hole on the exhaust leg, it has no tell tale but I'm sure it should spit water out the exhaust or at least some mist, no?

oh and the water is about to the exhaust port so it should be PLENTY deep!

I havent read any of your earlier posts, but did you flush the water line with a garden hose while the lu was down to ensure proper flow and no restrictions? Clean out the intake area?

Yeah, I guess the 4th time is a charm, I checked the impeller again and quadruple checked the grommets and it's pumping like a champ so, I dunno? Must have had one folded over.
We'll let her idle in the driveway awhile and run in a bit and keep an eye on it I guess.
