Hose identification

I have a 1987 Johnson 150 hp engine. I bought it with the carbs off and I noticed that behind the carbs there are a bunch of small small hoses going to small brass nipples. These nipples are threaded into the reed block. Some of these hoses are not hooked to anything and one of them even looks like it w cut and blocked off.
What are these hoses for? The po had them all tangled up and pulled off. Are they for the vro? Thanks for the help
