being that my jetski is 19 years old there is some oil and other stuff in the bottom. is it safe to tip the trailer up and use a regular garden hose and hose out the inside?

I recently removed the drain plugs on both of mine, 95&96, sprayed down the inside with simple green, let it sit a few, washed it down with the garden hose, tipped and prop up trailer to drain and rinse some, I would not spray the air cleaner too much, but everything else is should be ok.

Spraying Simple Green over the inside and letting it set a few minutes is a good idea.

I also put a few squirts of dishwashing liquid detergent in the lower hull (bilge)---something that dissolves grease like Dawn-- to help break up the oil in the bottom. Put a small bucket of very warm water in the bilge with the Dawn and let it sit a few minutes--you can slosh it around a bit by moving the trailer up and down and then unscrew the drain plugs and hose it out.

Leave the seats off til it dries out thoroughly--- or take it out and run it and let the engine heat dry it out.
