I have a Volvo Penta 125A/270 combo on a 16ft 1983 Invader. Starts like a cold blooded Volvo, runs great at idle and on plane. It had 682 hours when I got it a couple of weeks ago and had been sitting for 3-4 years. I've changed the fluids, impeller etc and it's run ok except for some hesitation at 1200rpm. Per suggestions from this forum, I've sent the 44pa1 Solex carb out for a rebuild. I know my question is a tough one to answer but typically how many hours does a combo like this run before a rebuild. I do realize that it all has to do with the maintainence it's received but what's your experience been.
