poorkyboy, you did not give to much info as to what motor set-up it has, but am going to take it as having inboards from seeing you are from the Cumberland Lake area.<br /><br />I would check all fluid levels. Would be good idea to find out what they di to the engine/s when they winterized it.<br />Did they change the oil, etc.<br /><br />As far as the water system goes, I would hope that they used some type of anti freeze like RV anti freeze for the water lines and such.<br />This will have to be flushed out.<br /><br />Also make sure all drains are closed.<br />There should be a main drain at the lowest point in the water system and also at the hot water heater.<br /><br />Might have to put some type of fuel stabilizer in it also.<br /><br />A bunch of this depends on what they did when they winterized it.<br /><br />Hope this helps some for I am no expert on houseboats.
