How about a new forum?

Since the board is changing, how about adding an adult page? I know iboats strives to be a family site, and I'm not looking for a porn site here, but it would be nice if we could speak in our everyday lingo and not get 'poofed'. <br />Couldn't it be made to where when you click on this new forum it takes you first to a page that says you are about to enter an adult site, or click here if you're over 18 etc...?

dhud with all due respect, it would not work.<br />You have no way of knowing if the person was 18 or not and they would just click on through. IMHO

Everyday lingo? It confuses me that folks think profanity is required in speech to get their point across... but to feel required to TYPE it? Then to need a sub-section created at a free website where you feel like you need to READ it too? Do you see where this all seems a little silly to you? Sadly enough, probably not.

Good idea that has been discussed several times here. The other board members jumped on the legitimate reasons why this will not work. We also don't want to be responsible for a site that has an area with condoned vulgarity. Sorry.
