How badly is the boat sitting?

Seems pretty stern heavy to me. The big motor is rated at 370lbs, the small engine must be about 75 = 450. The max load on the stern is meant to be 400. I figure removing the small engine and moving the custom console further forward would do the trick.

Any thoughts?

I agree. It's not overloaded, just poorly balanced.

She goes great when on step and at idle, but it's the middle rpm that cause a problem. Also, when just me at the back, very little trim is possible before a I get a bit of an up and down. Two people at the back = forget it, one has to sit forward. Glad to hear it just looks out of balance and not over-loaded. A shame to have to take the kicker off - nice piece of mind.

What is the HP of the motor, in relation to the max HP the boat is rated for? A glance at the picture seems to indicate that the motor is too heavy for that size boat.

Looks like a 90hp 4 stroke...HEAVY motor for that boat.

Not as bad as my neighbor's friends boat. Neighbor was a renter and got evicted. His buddies boat sank a few days later and just sat on the bottom for about 3-4 days. I was going to try and get it as salvage but the guy eventually came back for it.

Does your neighbor's buddy care whether or not his gear (showing all over the boat in your pics) gets stolen or not? Apparently not.

If that's your boat in the background, love it. Grew up a mile from a marina that sold Centurys. As a kid, I would go down there, marvel over them and dream of owning one. I still have a whole bunch of Century brochures (somewhere) from the late 60's and early 70s. Nice boat.

Century boats are indeed fine looking boats  I might be biased :)

Believe it or not there are still some places in this country that abide the honor system.

It's a F90 Yamaha and it's awesome ;). While not super common, the engine is found consistently on Continuouswave.com for this boat. I live in the Canadian Arctic and the last thing you want is to be underpowered. As an old timer here put it: "You rarely hear someone complain about their engine being too big but hear a lot of the opposite complaint".

I would say "very stern heavy" with the weight of both motors, fuel, etc. This is what my 66' with a 70 HP Johnson two stroke (225 lbs) and 12 gallons of fuel in the stern looks like:
