I have a quick silver laser II 19p that came off a merc. Is there any chance it will work on a 2002 sx150 xtra? Also what pitch would work good for this motor.. It is going on a 20' cc Angler.. Thanks in advance..

Ask your local prop shop,
They have a book for weight ratios.

Time and time again we try to explain that every engine manufacturer wants their engine propped so it runs at the top of their recommended wide open throttle rpm band with an average load. Since you didn't tell us what you observe for wide open throttle rpm with the prop you have now, we have no idea what is best for you. Prop selection is a crap shoot. You first need a prop designed for your engine. You then pick the style 3 blade, four blade, aluminum, stainless, cupped or uncupped, etc. But without a baseline to start with, it's impossible to tell you what's best.

I JUST BOUGHT THE MOTOR and it doesn't have a prop but I have a quicksilver prop off a merc I had laying around hoping to keep for a backup.. Maybe I should get a cheap prop then make adjustments from there and keep the cheap one for a backup... I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions.. Thanks

well you can try that one.. i think it might work.. i belive they have the same spline count and will fit right on.. you just have to make sure the thrust washer fits on there right.. aside from that i think that lazer should go fine.. just watch your top RPM'S.. here is a quick tip.. if the Rpms are too High or if you want more speed and dont care much for a (quick) whole shot then you have to add a pitch to compensate.. and if you want the opposite then down size.. usually (not allways) a rule is that the pitch of a prop will affect the top RPM by 200-300 rpms everytime you make a change.
