How come my Avatar doesn't work???

I'm just trying to upload an avatar, but it isn't working... I see that there are not other avatars in the forums that I've found so far. Are they not activated??? I'm just curious, because I'd like to use an avatar if possible. It allows for individuality among members, and is a proven fact among forums to increase member's positive attitudes while in the forums! Ok,,, so maybe that's a line of bull,,, but regardless, it would be fun to have!<br /><br />

jaywc7, You have to use a photo hosting service like photodump.com. You upload the photo you want to use for your avatar, then they will give you a url where it is locate. Copy and paste the url and where it says "use custom url" where you set up your avatar. When you set it, it will appear in the box. I had to play with it a bit to get it to work but it is easy. I do not have one because I cannot make up my mind.

I use photobucket for my host it free and simple.<br />now I have to work on resizing.
