how do I get more speed out of my 1990 force 85 monted on a bayliner capri, It only goes about 30 mph now

What pitch prop are you running? And what are your WOT RPM'S? Just to start!

Check your timing,full throttle inside the carb,try the next size lower in prop(cupped and non cupped). If these fail use a marker and chang e the 30 on the speedo to 40mph.
