How do I set Timing - 35hp Chrysler O/Board

Hi Guys,<br /><br />I'm new to this sort of stuff. Can anyone explain in laymans terms how I can set the timing on a 1972 35hp Chrysler outboard. Also how should I set the throttle positioning?<br /><br />Would appreciate any help whatsoever.<br /><br />Cheers.

You will need to buy a manual..It is a must.<br />You gan buy them here at IBOATS.

What B.Gannon said. <br />The timing does not run-out, or loose adjustment.<br />I checked my book, but i noted the >1982 models (as far back as my book goes) are not adjustable anyhow.<br /><br />The throttle should be adjusted to where the butterfly vane in the carb is fully open at WOT (can be set not running).<br />By the way, welcome to iboats
