Why not?

I can check the module codes for a car by putting an analog electrical device (voltmeter or test-light) on the computer connector then running the test. Just count the flashes or needle swings for the codes. I.E.: Flash, pause, Flash Flash would be code 12.

Each code module may have different rules for reading the flashes (I just follow the rules in my Chilton), but I thought it should work for all?

There are about six connections on the self test connector, and I'm not about to advise Motox6 on which wires to jump and test with a test light...

Touching the wrong wires is good way to toast an even more expensive, and difficult to find, version of the ECC-IV...
