How do you empty the livewell?

I took out a used boat that I purchased a couple of months ago for the first time over the weekend. The boat is a 16' Aluminum (Monark Pro 1650). It has two livewells built-in like a bass boat. I filled up the livewells to make sure they fill properly. Once filled, how do I empty them? The livewells are solid aluminum rectangles with no plugs or pumps to drain them. They have a PVC tube that comes up and acts like an overflow if the water level gets higher than the tube. Once I turned the livewells off, there is no place for the water to go.

Usually the tube that you are talking about for an overflow just pulls out to drain the tank.

turn the tube or pull it i believe most have a rubber or plastic threads on the other end it may be hard to start since you obviously didnt put the tube in the previous owners probably left it in. then when you pull the boat out of the water there should be a thruhull on the back it will drain out of maybe out of the side
