How do you re-name a link in a post?

How do you re-name a link in a post? I have seen it done several times by others and can't figure it out. Say a link to a sticky in the Mercruiser forum here:
http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=288430

Instead of that^^^ re-name it say: "click on me" ????

Ayuh,.... Type the words, Hi-light 'em with yer cursor, 'n Then click on the weblink icon to paste the link in...

If you type in manually you can go this route.

[url="http://iboats.com"]clickity to iboats[/url]
Will turn into:
clickity to iboats
