How do you remove Volvo Penta Control?

So I thought I was doing the right thing by replacing a shifter cable because the casing was cracked and now I wish I didnt because the cable block is a $*%&! to get back in so I need to remove the throttle control from the gunnel. I can't see behind the control but I can get my hand in there. If someone has a schematic that would help too. Thanks

That cover is split into 2 pieces, push the front part forward, and the back part backwards to pull it out of the clips. Then you will see the screws holding the control on.
