Re: How do you wire out an Automatic Choke?
Aquadzac

From what I've just read, I am wrong in my info. Sure is strange way to design it.

Took a look in the Seloc manual, it describes the Holley elect choke operation as f_inscreename described. The coil is a heater coil, one would expect it to be a choke pull-close coil. The choke is the same mechanical thermostatic design

In case things have changed. From the description given, you can confirm by wiring up 12V to the coil and observe how the choke behaves. Do this on a bench before you wire up, believe you know how to proceed from there.

I am planning on replacing mine with an Edelbrock primarily because the electric choke. I hardly need choking over here and its harder to start. Please let me know the outcome.

Thanks guys for pointing the error.
