How does my steering system work

I have a 2003 SX-195 W/195 HP I/O 4.3L Mercruiser. I'm new to this boat so I do not know allot about it. Can someone explain the workings of the steering system? I do know it has a Teleflex rack with one cable coming out the side of it just from looking underneath the dash but from there to the outdrive I'm lost. Is it hydraulic operated with cylinders or strictly cable attached to outdrive? I'm trying to learn how it operates. Thanks

it is one cable that pushes and pulls, back to the steering arm, or to the power steering adapter.
