How does the E-Tec auto fogging work?

I understand the procedure, but how does the E-Tec automatically fog itself? Does the sequence of fast-slow-fast idle tell the computer to inject a higher mixture of oil and fuel? say 20:1? Or is there some other system that kicks in an injects oil directly onto internal components?

Also, does this require using a special fogging oil or regular 2-cycle oil?

I am not the most familiar w/ these motors, but I can tell you that the oil is controlled by ecu. When these motors are new they
double oil for break-in period.

If you follow the procedure in the owners manual the EMM or computer delivers more oil to the mtr for fogging. I usually go through the procedure twice to make sure I've got enough oil in the mtr. Smoke your neighbors out. LOL.
