Grandpa's toy, Sorry to hear about your loss. Some people would never ever allow their teen to have a gun, but they will put them in a vehicle that has more odds of killing. It is sensless and more needs to be done on limiting those that who can drive.<br /><br />Driving tests should be more thorough. Maybe two or three hours on a simulator that throws alot of curves at you to see how you can make the right choices to prevent an accident. <br /><br />They have different classes of CDL license. To me that should be with regular operators license. Have a class for all roadways<br />one class for rural area only<br />one class for surface streets only<br />one class for expressway/interstate only<br /><br />Then all these classes would be limited to horsepower, speed, and size of the vehicle in relation to your operators license.<br /><br />Instead of making cars idiot proof, it would be cheaper to remove the idiots way of driving methods.<br /><br />Teens now days will purposely steal a car to crash it just for the thrill. <br /><br />I deal with the older citizens alot on the road also, I think they have the right to drive, but maybe limit the hours and weather conditions in which they would be allowed out.<br /><br />Oh yes, to me car thieves should be shot or hung just like it was if you had stolen a horse in the earlier years.<br /><br />SS
