I will be getting the 135hp on her soon. Still a long way off from liquid water here yet. So it is a 19' superfisherman 1991 with a 135 going on her. I believe the boat weighs 1100 pounds plus motor of 365lbs? I was just wondering what kind of speed it will do.

that is a light boat...what hull type/style is it?? right off hand I am going to guess about 35-37 MPH loaded..you might hit 40-42 empty..make sure it is propped correctly..should be at around 5800 RPMs at WOT

My 16' with a 85hp did 38mph on GPS, but that was with low fuel and a loaded boat, and water logged foam. I think your boat will be more around 40ish, but may be faster. I have no idea what I'm talking about though :facepalm: there are other's that could give you a better idea.

My 22' SuperSport V5 with a 140 Evinrude will do 35mph (GPS). RPM's were at 5500, where they should be. You should get a little better than that I would think. 40 mph or better is probably not out of the question for yours.

I have a 17' bass boat with a 110 HP..it will hit 40 MPH loaded with your boat being 2 foot longer and 25 more horses..I figure you will turn out about the same..hull condition can have a lot to do with it..

Here is a link to an online speed calculator, I have heard from some people that it is pretty much on the mark. I havent had a chance to compare it to the new boat yet water is still a little hard for that right now.

i get 28-30 mph in my 18 holiday with 70 hp

I have a 135 O/B on mine I have been clocked at 42mph. The flat bottom helps with speed but hard on the but!

Hey 98 any thing above 35 uses to much Gas. Prob close to 42-48 but at that speed carry a extra fuel tank or two. LOL Pugetsound
