I recently bought a Lund Classic 1775 SS with a 90 hp 4 stroke Mercury and it seems I only go just over 32 mph, how fast should a boat/motor like this be going?? After I mentioned this to the dealer he changed the 15 deg. prop to a 17 deg., and said this should help. I haven't tried it out yet since the change, but just curious if anyone has a similar setup and what their top speed is. I don't have any experience with this type of boat( I grew up using a 14 ft with a 20 hp) and I really don't know what I should be expecting so any info you guys can provide would be very helpful. THANKS

Re: how fast should my boat go??

more important than speed is that your motor is turning the optimum rpms at wot.
