how fast?

i am picking this boat (see below) up this afternoon and hope to take it to the lake from there
the guy i bought it from said he was getting about 35 mph
is this seem right or should i expect more

i will have better info about setup after i have boat in hand

take a gps with ya. then ya'll know how fast it goes.
how fast it goes is not as important as does the engine reach it's proper wot throttle spec.

if ya don't have a gps, like me. i use my buddy as a pace boat for a pretty close estimated speed.

if it is not water logged i would expect around 35. we use to have a cobia that vintage, 115 Johnson would run 42.
