I just bought an 1993 bayliner 2252 classic with a new 4.3v6 v 2bbl vortec engine with A14.5x17 ss prop running about 4300 rpm wot engine seems to be runnen fine olny getten 27 mph anyone have a similer boat ? what is your top speed? cant find orignal sales brochure that lists top speed, feels a bit slow.

What specifically is a 2252.Weight?Do you know the gear ratio?How is the overall performance? Give us some detail.
27 does seem slow but speedos can be off quite a bit.gps is better.

Ayuh,... If you're only spinning 4300rpms with a 17" prop,...
Either the motor is Seriously down on power, or that's an EXTREMELY heavy barge...
