How in the _-_- do you get to it?

Buddy has a '97 Caddy Deville on which the passenger side wiper has stopped working. Nudges a little when turned on, but won't complete a cycle.

It looks like they started with the wiper drive system and built the car around it...!

How on earth does one get to the drive system - gear box and linkage? What has to be taken apart?

Probably loose on spline tighten nut on wiper arm

They can be tough, depends where they stuffed the motor, I actually had to tear out a dashboard in one vehicle. Depends which side of the firewall it sits on, and what other junk is in front. The spline comment sounds like the path I'd try, if you can get a socket or wrench on it, maybe it doesn't need to come out. That should save a bunch of bloody knuckles.
