Tonight at 7:30 eastern time on discovery they are playing how its made edition of fiberglass boats. Just thought someont might want to see it. I think they are going to use that chopper glass gun in this episode.

Has anybody noticed how they always seem to show the cheap brand or off brand stuff allot of the times when showing "how it's made", instead of the well known brands/name brand stuff.

Maybe I'm missing something. Although it still gives us the basics, and there isn't much difference if any between how one brand is made and the other, allot of the times both brands come off the same line.

Show is made in Canada and everything they show is being made there. Surprised all the workers are not drinking beer and eating back bacon. Take off, to the great white north!

Being a Canadian I just wanted to comment. It's "Take off, Eh?!" and with the recent recall on meats from Maple Leaf Foods in Canada, we're skippin' the bacon for a few weeks until all the listeria is gone

Just checked the schedule for Rogers Cable in Ontario. It's not on the list for this week.

I checked the website and apparently this will be based on the building of a Doral boat. www.doralboat.com. Company is out of Quebec.

my guess is they don't have the big name brands because they wont sign off on it. and i think they wont sign off on it, because they may have a "secret" formula they dont want the smaller competitors knowing. such as coke or pepsi, or some big name chef, doesn't want anybody knowing their ingredients.

just a thought.

I watched it. It was interesting how they made that wood frame for the boat mold.

The Geddy Lee "Take Off to The Great White North" song wasn't in the Strange Brew movie... It was on the McKenzie brother's Take Off album... sheesh
